Absolutely.

You don't need to arrive as a finished actor. MFA is designed to help you discover your potential, develop your acting skills, build confidence and learn how to perform professionally for film and television.

What matters most is your talent, commitment, discipline and willingness to learn.

The Talent Discovery Assessment is your first step into the MFA Acting journey.

You'll be assessed by experienced professionals to understand your current ability, potential and areas for development. Your assessment helps us determine the most appropriate pathway for you.

The goal isn't simply to give you a score. It is to discover what you can become.

Your assessment result helps determine your next stage.

If you need further development: You'll be guided toward the Acting Mastery Programme, where you can strengthen your craft before progressing to practical production.

If you demonstrate the required level of readiness: You can progress toward the MFA Star Launch Film Camp™ and practical film production experience.

Either way, your assessment is the beginning of your journey — not the end.

Yes. Practical production experience is a major part of the MFA Acting pathway.

Selected participants who progress to the relevant production stages may participate in film, stage, promotional or other creative productions, depending on project requirements

MFA is designed to take you beyond acting lessons.

Throughout your journey, we focus on professional acting skills, camera and audition technique, practical film production, portfolio development, professional actor profile, networking and collaboration, industry exposure, professional conduct and access to relevant opportunities.

Our goal is to help position you for the real-world demands of Nollywood and the wider African and global film industry.

Because MFA operates within a wider production and creative network, we can also create opportunities for deserving actors to gain experience and connect with professionals.

Yes.

Participants who successfully complete the required MFA Acting stages and practical film production will receive an MFA certificate recognising their training and development.

Your certification can also support your professional journey, including your pursuit of membership or registration with relevant industry bodies such as the Actors Guild of Nigeria, subject to the organisation's own membership requirements.

More importantly, your MFA journey is designed to help you build the skills, experience, portfolio and professional identity that producers, directors, casting professionals and brands look for when seeking actors.

The certificate marks what you've completed. Your skills and experience help determine where you can go next.

That's one of the purposes of building Magnus Film-Network Africa.

MFA is not intended to be a place where you train and then disappear.

As opportunities become available through our network, productions, collaborations and industry relationships, relevant actors may be considered for film and television productions, auditions and casting opportunities, commercials and branded content, promotional videos and creative collaborations.

Selection will always depend on the requirements of each production or project.

We cannot guarantee every actor a role — but we are committed to creating and connecting you to genuine opportunities where possible.

Yes — and this is an important part of the MFA journey.

Not every actor gets their first break in a feature film. Sometimes your first professional experience comes through a short film, promotional production, commercial, branded content or digital campaign.

Through the wider MFA production ecosystem, selected and suitable participants may have opportunities to feature in MFA and partner productions, including promotional content created for the iDOFF ecosystem and iDOFF Enterprise.

This gives emerging actors an opportunity to gain on-camera experience, production credits, portfolio material and professional exposure.

Potentially, yes.

As selected MFA actors demonstrate strong performance, professionalism, screen presence and consistency, some may be considered for opportunities within the iDOFF ecosystem, including promotional campaigns, branded videos and other content.

Outstanding participants may also be considered for iDOFF Ambassador or brand-face opportunities.

These opportunities are selective and are based on suitability, performance and the needs of particular campaigns.

For the right actor, your MFA journey could become the beginning of a much bigger professional visibility journey.

No — but we will give you more than a promise. We'll give you a pathway.

No credible institution can guarantee every actor a movie role or permanent employment. Casting decisions depend on the requirements of each production, your suitability for a role, your performance, availability and many other factors.

What MFA can commit to is helping you become better prepared and better positioned.

You will have the opportunity to develop your CRAFT → EXPERIENCE → PORTFOLIO → PROFILE → NETWORK → PROFESSIONAL READINESS.

Where genuine opportunities arise through our network, productions, partners or ecosystem, qualified and suitable actors can be considered.

Your MFA journey doesn't end when training ends. It is where your professional journey begins.
